A significant part of home accessibility can start in a driveway, or at steps to the front door. MEDIchair Halton and MEDIchair Etobicoke provide a comprehensive selection of standard ramps as well as custom built ramps for curbs, thresholds, stairs and more. In addition, we install porch lifts, also known as vertical platform lifts, or an outdoor stair lift to get you up to your deck, or in your front door. We install stair lifts to so you may access all levels of your home, ceiling track systems and other lifting devices. We also widen door entryways, offset door hinges, create roll in showers, and install grab bars and handrails anywhere throughout your home.
Medical Equipment Maintenance Program
MEDIchair Halton and MEDIchair Etobicoke have teamed up with many long-term care and senior living homes to provide a medical equipment maintenance program which include the following complimentary services:
- Weekly on-site visits working with registered staff to ensure that equipment is in optimal condition
- Labour on repairs for the lifespan of equipment
- Immediate response to emergency situations with equipment
- Loaner equipment for assessment, or when repair is offsite
- Regular equipment inspection and tune up
- Wheelchair cleanings
- Buy back program
- Staff education on new equipment and relevant topics
- Value added service over and above that of other vendors
- Other services that can be tailored to specific requirements
Your Right to Choose a Medical Equipment Vendor
If you live in a home in which MEDIchair is providing a complimentary Home Medical Equipment Maintenance Program and need to purchase medical equipment, MEDIchair will always respect your right to choose a medical equipment vendor. We will still honour our medical equipment maintenance program no matter where your equipment is purchased.
Rental Program

Buy-Back Program
MEDIchair Halton and MEDIchair Etobicoke will buy back equipment that we have sold. We also will buy equipment that was purchased elsewhere on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for further information.
Recycling Program
We are pleased to work with your organization to pick up donated medical equipment, refurbish it as needed, provide storage and deliver it to the client. A current list of product activity and product availability for your organization is provided on a monthly basis, or as requested. Please contact us for further information.
